Teacher and Restorative Justice Practitioner, Author, Trainer, and Researcher. Over the past decade, Dr. Wadwha has developed a youth apprenticeship model for restorative justice where students are trained and train others in conducting peace circles. This program has gained recognition and has been featured on National Public Radio's Morning Edition, as well as in the Huffington Post and the Texas Criminal Justice Coalition. She is also the founder of the Restorative Justice Collaborative of Houston, a volunteer group dedicated to promoting restorative practices throughout the Houston community. Her commitment lies in creating a more just and equitable educational system while honoring the land's indigenous heritage and fostering positive change in the lives of the youth. In her professional focus on restorative justice practices and training, she is deeply committed to educating and transforming various groups, including educators, counselors, and organizations. Her training programs are crafted to suit unique contexts and incorporate a blend of restorative justice research, circle experiences, and role plays.
