How do we get Houstonians on the same page when it comes to addressing climate change and environmental concerns?

Main Speaker Bio:

Jaime Lawson is a native Houstonian who grew up in the Alief area. She has been involved in Houston’s “Green” community for over 14 years, with one and a half years as the Houston Green Film Series Liaison for the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) Emerging Professionals Committee, worked as a Sustainability Consultant in the commercial green building industry for 9 years, is currently on the EPA Region 6 Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Centers (TCTAC) Advisory Council, and has served as the Chair of the Community Outreach Chair for the Houston Climate Movement for the past seven years.


Musician Bio:

Jes Schneider is a highly talented singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer based in Houston, Texas. With an innate ability to infuse his self-written tunes with elements of rock, blues, country, and folk, Jes delivers powerful vocals that deeply resonate with his audience. His profound passion for music shines through in every composition, creating an authentic and captivating musical experience. Combining his rich artistic vision with meticulous production skills, Jes continues to leave an enduring impact on the industry, solidifying his position as a remarkable artist and a driving force in the world of music.
