Hike in Arboretum — 120 West Loop N Fwy
Houston Oasis will have a hike at the Houston Arboretum at 11 am., hosted by Ted Andrews. Please arrive early because we expect to leave on time.
We will hike the southern part of the Outer Loop, which is slightly more than one mile. There are 3 cutoffs along the way for those who want a shorter hike, and plenty of benches along the way. For those who want to hike more, there are plenty of additional trails to hike afterwards. Ted will bring a day pack with small bottle of water and a peanut butter and honey sandwich, which is his favorite hiking meal!
No reservations are necessary. There is a $5 fee for parking all day. We will meet outside the western entrance to the Houston Arboretum Nature Center. For further info please email Ted Andrews at [email protected].
