Chuck Redding is a retired mechanical engineer who spent most of his career in the oil and gas industry. He dabbled in falconry during the 1960's, training some Red-tailed Hawks and American Kestrels. Since getting a falconry permit in 2004, he has flown Harris's Hawks, Red-tailed Hawks, American Kestrels, and a Red-shouldered Hawk. He served as Southern Director, then Vice President of the Texas Hawking Association, and has published falconry articles in various falconry magazines.
Sherita Perez stands apart from pretty much every other performer going. One of the most diverse singers in Texas, Perez can go from full band performance to solo act with the snap of your fingers. She’s performed at the legendary CBGB’s before they closed, she’s appeared on major market radio, and she’s delighted audiences at festivals and clubs across North America. As a solo act, Perez adds a sultry attitude to each and every bluesy folk track, while in her full band Fear The Poet, Perez brings a stage presence that can fill any room. She’s been featured in multiple publications including Houston Press , Scene Magazine, and Free Press Houston, as well as recording with famed producers Chris “Frenchie” Smith and Josh Applebee. Perez is currently finishing up a new album being recorded at the legendary recording studio SugarHill, and she’ll be touring throughout Europe for most of the second and third quarter of 2016.
