Boomtown Brass Band is Houston’s only dedicated traditional jazz ensemble. They specialize in performing the high-energy hot jazz of 1920s New Orleans. Formed in 2015, Boomtown Brass Band has quickly become wildly popular in Houston and are acclaimed for providing great music for listening or dancing. Their mission is to keep the origins of jazz—arguably the United States' only original art form—not just alive, but dancing, singing, and celebrating.
