Main Speaker Bio:

David Oliverio is a former Pentecostal Christian preacher turned passionate secular humanist activist and atheist. He moved to Houston in 2023 from Austin, where he was an active part of secular communities. From 2012 to 2022, he dedicated Saturdays to feeding the homeless and volunteering at the Austin Food Bank. David served as a board member for the Atheist Community of Austin in 2018 while hosting the 'Preaching Humanist' YouTube show from 2014 to 2021. He also participated in tabling at Georgetown Market Days and advocated for secularism in Humanist communities and Unitarian churches. In his free time, David enjoys hiking, city walks, weight training, and exploring nature trails with his wife Christine.
