David is a former pentecostal pastor, a secular community organizer and a current member of the Houston Oasis board of directors.David was a pentecostal pastor from 1976 to 1989. He became a secular humanist in 1990 and has been a secular community organizer since 2014 He is a current member of the Houston Oasis board of directors.
