Speaker Bio :
Adam Chaney is an advocate, activist, and a former evangelical Pastor. He is currently Development Director of FCAC a non-profit advocacy center for children & parents involved in the child welfare system. He is a skilled communicator, researcher, grant writer, copy editor, and content strategist. He has co-founded two nonprofits and served in various capacities including volunteer management, community mobilization, awareness initiatives, fundraising, and multi-channel communications. Adam is a native Houstonian and has spent his entire professional career advocating for vulnerable and marginalized communities.
Musician Bio:
Dr. Henry Darragh is an educator, composer, arranger, trombonist, pianist, vocalist, and recording artist. Darragh is adjunct faculty at The University of Houston-Clear Lake. He released Tell Her for Me (2010), Too Much Monday (2015), Doc Loc and the Swangers (2019) and What Can I Say? (2020). He has also released singles including "Bushwick Bill Story" (2019), "Covid-19" (2020), and "My Best Day" (2021).
