Musician: Leslie Waugh
Musician Bio:
Houston based award winning singer songwriter Leslie Waugh crafts beautiful songs, and delivers them with a beautiful voice. Leslie began her auspicious songwriting career by attending a songwriter workshop hosted by Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines just because she wanted to hang out with the duo. That weekend sparked a life changing passion for her. Fueled with conviction and hard work, she began honing her craft. Success soon followed and Leslie was named regional folk finalist at Kerrville, a finalist at Songwriter’s Serenade, and nabbed both the Houston Songwriter’s Association Songwriter of the Year Award along with Song of the Year. She’s released two albums, her first titled the White Cat Sessions was released in 2011. Her sophomore effort titled Onward was produced by Lloyd Maines and Terri Hendrix in 2014.
