Khrystyne is the Educational Director for Sea Turtle, Inc.

She has a passion for wildlife and the outdoors and her career in this field is a dream come true! She grew up in Killeen, Texas and completed her B.S. in Wildlife Biology at Texas State University. She had an opportunity to go to Costa Rica in 2008 on a sea turtle volunteer program and from that moment on, she was hooked! She first came to Sea Turtle, Inc. in 2014 as an intern and experienced so many amazing things. She is excited to return as an Educator and to help spread awareness about sea turtle conservation.  When not working, you can find her out on her paddleboard with her dogs, Harley and Riley.

Her favorite species of sea turtles are the Leatherbacks since they were the first species she worked with. She was able to see hatchlings in Costa Rica, and finally got to see nesting mamas in Ghana in 2016 which was a dream come true!
