Speaker Bio:
Rebekah is a research associate at the Institute for Southern Studies and writer for Facing South. Her research focuses on racial justice, deomcracy, and Southern history. She holds bachelor's degrees in English and history from N.C. Central University in Durham, North Carolina.

Musician Bio:       
Jeffrey Leppart has a master’s degree in music Ed. from The University Of North Texas.

He has a great deal of jazz experience as a performer  (tenor sax) and educator. The guys in the band are seasoned professional musicians as well. The do primarily jazz standards with some be bop, blues and ballads. They have played Oasis many times in the past.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19 DO NOT attend an Oasis event.
